LITE-GS-HB: Our class leading UFO Highbay lights may look like our competitors but the internal componentry is of higher specification with the inclusion of high efficieny and high output Philips LUXEON LEDs and industry leading Mean Well HBG or HLG drivers rated at >50,000 to >62,000 hours. We can also supply custom configurations including precise colour temperature, multiple beam widths, cable length, and increased heat tolerance, amongst other options. The LITE-GS-HB-240W is used by Bluescope Steel Australia as one of their preferred High Crane LED Lights due to the improved light intensity, heat tolerance and light projection using narrow beam angle. With the crane lights operating 24 hours a day, seven days per week in the harshest and hotest environments, our premium quality LED UFO High Bay lights have stood the test of time withstanding high temperatures over the past three years. UFO High Bay LITE-GS-HB Product InformationThe LITE-GS-HB flood lights (often referred to as UFO lights) are a specialized high grade commercial LED light used in industrial applications where day light is required including factories, loading docks, cranes, buildings, bridges, etc. Available in 60W, 80W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 240W and 300W, 400W and 480W/500W dual models, and 60° , 90° and 120° beam angles there is enough flexibility to suite most applications and roof or tower heights. Up to 1000W Metal Halide or 2000W Metal Halide or 4000W Metal Halide Equivalents At 240W and approximately 38,400 lm or 170lm/W the LITE-GS-HB-240W has a greater light output than an older or cheaper 300W UFO and can exceed the lighting requirements of a 1000W conventional metal halide flood light [1]. The 150W model at 180lm/W or 27,000 lm has more light than a cheaper or older 200W UFO high bay light. The positioning of the LEDs allows almost 100% light projection towards your loading dock, car park or factory, unlike the sideways mounted and omni-directional bulb of a metal halide which has much greater losses and relies on the quality and efficiency of the reflector. The Dual 480W - 500W UFO High Bay light with 76,800 lm can exceed the output of a 2000W metal halide light [1]. The higher efficiency of the LED projection system and high lumen maintenance (little light degradation < half that of a metal halide) allows up to 80% energy saving to be achieved. Philips LUMILEDS LUXEON 3030 2D LEDs The UFO High Bay lights consist of an array of the latest generation Philips Lumileds LUXEON 3030 2D LEDs with primary applications being downlights, high bay, low bay, and stadium flood lights. The Philips LUXEON 3030 with an output of up to 165lm/W (5000K, CRI min 70) offers superior luminous flux at max current for reduced LED count. A CRI of minimum 90 at an output of 131lm/W at 5000K is still possible. At 4000K or above a high bay light output of 180 lm/W can be achieved by increasing the quantity of the LEDS in the UFO High Bay Light. Mean Well® HBG Series Drivers – 5 Year Warranty The Philips LUXEON LEDs in the LITE-GS-HB series LED High Bay Lights are driven by Mean Well HBG series LED Drivers rated at > 50,000 hours and a maximum case temperature of 85°C. Backed by an independent 5 year warranty and established in 1982, Mean Well is a leading standard switching power supply manufacturer in the world. As shown in the image above the Mean Well drivers are mounted independently from the LEDs with an air gap and separate heat sinks to permit maximum cooling of both LEDs and power supply for increased LED High Bay Light life span. [1] Light comparison will depend on age of existing metal halide high bay lights and efficiency of housing reflector. * Please note in many instances RCM/C-tick/SAA applies to the electrical power supply/LED Driver. |
